Save Quennect4!
Thursday, March 18th, 2010
Our friends at the Quennect4 Gallery need your help.
As a DIY art space in Chicago’s Humboldt Park, Q4’s been providing the community with culturally informed art and music events for almost five years. Their popularity was growing exponentially, until a Cease & Desist order stopped the momentum. Now they need our help to get right with the city and get back on their game.

Everyone who makes a pledge will receive a compilation of music from artists who’ve played at Quennect4, and higher donations may receive t-shirts and Quennect4 artwork!

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009New Sade Old Topley-Bird
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009
Just listened to the new Sade single, Soldier of Love on sade.com. Its reminiscent without being a complete rehash, so respect to Sade for waiting until the time was right. I’m not sure if it makes me want to hear a whole new Sade album, but I am certain it makes me want to listen to Martina Topley-Bird, that’s what happens next.
