Marvel Vs. Disney
Its time for a Marvel vs. Capcom vs. Kingdom Hearts game on PS3.
Everyone seems to have a shitty opinion about Disney’s purchase of Marvel Comics. I’m no different than the next over opinionated schmo who decides to throw his voice onto the internet. Personally, I don’t think anything will change. If you look at the DC / Warner relationship, there’s cause for concern and elation. Sure Watchmen was bad, but Fables is great. And if you look at Pixar and Studio Ghibli’s relationships with Disney, it looks like Marvel will still be able to do good work.
Even if Marvel is now doomed, the kids will recover. Once they’re thoroughly disenchanted with Marvel/Disney, midsized independent comic companies will be able to take more market share to fill the void left by the devoured giant.
